In the Blumenviertel district of Neuk\u00f6lln in Berlin, groundwater is currently being dug to support the remediation of contaminated sites.<\/span><\/p>\n

After completion of the remediation of the contaminated site and expiry of the water rights permit, new concepts for groundwater regulation are needed, as buildings of private owners are protected in the area of influence of the production wells, whose basements are not properly sealed against pressing groundwater. Shutting down the plant causes the groundwater to rise. This rise is to be counteracted by suitable dewatering measures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Berlin Senate Department for the Environment, Transport and Climate Protection (SenUVK) commissioned Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH (M&P) to prepare and hand over turnkey plans for groundwater management in decentralised systems for individual owner groups. <\/span><\/p>\n

On 12.05.2021, the detailed planning documents were made available to the first group of owners who took up the SenUVK offer.<\/span><\/p>\n
