M\u00fchlacker is located in the northwest of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, about 12 kilometres from Pforzheim and about 25 minutes by train from Stuttgart.<\/p><p>In the course of this, buildings and foundation components must be demolished on the approx. 25 ha large former brickworks site. For this purpose, MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH from Heidelberg, as a subcontractor of Re2area GmbH, which was commissioned with an extensive overall project, worked on various subprojects:<\/p><p>In advance, the buildings were examined by MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH and the deconstruction planned. Furthermore, MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH examined the fillings that had been created over a total of more than 150 years of use and classified them according to waste legislation. A deconstruction and disposal concept was drawn up for the existing buildings. An important component of the construction measures is skilful soil management, resulting in the disposal of as few materials as possible and with an optimised recycling rate of soil and processed mineral demolition material.<\/p><p>Most of the last brick hall has already been demolished. Now only the administration building has to be demolished, then the area of approx. 25 ha will be cleared of buildings.
