Opposite the Gundlach residential complex FOUR in the Pelikan district - which won awards in nationwide competitions for project development and sustainability - another Gundlach residential quarter called \"ZWEI\" will be built on 10,300 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gundlach will build a mix of rental and owner-occupied flats for different phases of life, a day-care centre and, to a lesser extent, shops on the site. A high-rise building with a height of up to 50 m, which was envisaged in the original development plan and which some residents felt did not suit the location, will not be built there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 276 planned flats are divided into two construction areas. For the northern area, adjacent to Pastor-Jaeckel-Weg, the architectural firm Kister-Scheithauer-Gross has been awarded the contract. Here, 61 condominiums will be built in two buildings. For the southern area, the architectural firm Fink + Jocher has been awarded a prize. Here, 187 rental flats are planned in a perimeter block development, as well as 28 condominiums in a solitaire.
