This results in possible old sites, old deposits and contaminated sites. According to the Federal Soil Protection Act (BBodSchG), these are divided into:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disused waste disposal facilities and other land on which waste has been treated, stored or deposited (old landfills), and<\/li>\n<li>Land of decommissioned installations and other land on which environmentally hazardous substances have been handled, causing harmful soil changes or other hazards to individuals or the general public.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The term \"contaminated site\" is only used when the hazard has been identified through appropriate investigations and assessments.<\/p>\n<p>Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was commissioned with the orienting investigation of a suspected contaminated site in the district of Osnabr\u00fcck.<\/p>\n<p>On the basis of soil investigations, a wide variety of backfill material (building rubble, slag, coal, green waste, etc.) was found and the deposit was largely demarcated. Furthermore, a possible risk to the groundwater could not be excluded.
