M&P Hagen obtains university certificate in Soil Science Construction Monitoring (BBB)<\/h1>\n

Our new field of activity, soil monitoring (BBB), serves to enforce the requirements of soil protection and soil protection law in the course of construction projects and is increasingly demanded by authorities or building owners or included in the planning and construction process. It thus covers the entire planning and implementation phase of a construction project in which soil masses are moved or possibly impacted.<\/p>\n

The aim of BBB is to avoid, reduce and eliminate harmful soil changes such as compaction of the soil structure and pollutant inputs into soil and groundwater. During construction, we offer soil protection and soil management concepts that ensure the implementation of technical principles regarding the handling of soils on the construction site. This includes, for example, the monitoring of relocation, interim storage, the reinstatement and restoration of soils.<\/p>\n

These services require a high level of expertise in soil physics and soil chemistry. Communication skills and experience with authorities, executing construction companies and other stakeholders are also required.<\/p>\n

The need for a professionally qualified BBB is increasingly growing. Since December 2019, our engineering company has been included in the list of certified soil experts by the German Soil Association (BVBoden) through the award of the university certificate to Dr. rer. nat. Nadine Krabbe (Hagen branch). Our engineering company has already been able to successfully apply the newly acquired expertise in numerous projects.<\/p>\n
