Redevelopment of the former Kerkenberg electroplating plant in Neuenrade<\/strong><\/h1>\n

In cooperation with the M\u00e4rkischer Kreis and the town of Neuenrade, AAV intends to process and redevelop the old site of the former Kerkenberg electroplating plant in Neuenrade. The site is to be used for commercial purposes after the demolition of the existing buildings and remediation of the subsoil.<\/p>\n

For this purpose, a remediation investigation including a deconstruction concept is to be developed in Phase I. Subsequently, remediation planning is planned according to \u00a7 13 BBodSchG and Annex 3 of the BBodSchV.<\/p>\n

The building survey including the building material investigations as well as the soil and groundwater investigations were already carried out in 2019 by our branch office in Hagen. Prior to this, a review of the municipal building files, the \"water files\" of the M\u00e4rkischer Kreis and the recording of a \"canister register\" (cataloguing of the chemical containers left behind) were used to research the substances handled in the electroplating plant. Based on these findings, drilling points were positioned and analysis parameters were determined.<\/p>\n

Any contamination found in the soil and groundwater was then investigated in detail. For this purpose, additional groundwater monitoring wells were set up in the pore aquifer. A short pumping test was used to determine the hydraulic parameters of the unconsolidated aquifer. Furthermore, the existing deep well (70 m) was inspected, regenerated and sampled.<\/p>\n

The results are presented and evaluated in the remediation investigation report. Subsequently, the remediation planning (approval planning) presents the deconstruction and remediation measures.<\/p>\n

In phase II, the services are to be planned ready for implementation, put out to tender and carried out after the contract has been awarded.<\/p>\n
