Cologne-M\u00fclheim: Redevelopment of the former Kl\u00f6ckner-Humboldt-Deutz site<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Since 2015, Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, represented by the Cologne office, has been involved in the redevelopment of the former Deutz plant (Kl\u00f6ckner-Humboldt-Deutz site). On part of the former factory site on Deutz-M\u00fclheimer Stra\u00dfe in southern Cologne-M\u00fclheim, the so-called COLOGNEO quarter is being created - a mixture of residential and commercial development.<\/p>\n

On the southern part of the COLOGNEO site, Consus Real Estate AG is realising more than 480 flats combined with office space, retail and a hotel on several adjacent building plots. In addition to the new buildings, parts of the old building stock were also integrated into the redevelopment. A clinker brick building was reinforced and two storeys were added. After retrofitting and the construction of an annex, the \"Villa Charlier\" became a day care centre for children, which was already put into operation in 2019.<\/p>\n

Mull und Partner brought its experience and expertise in the areas of deconstruction, contaminated sites and geothermal energy to the project. In addition to preparing various expert reports on the building pollutants and soil contamination, preparing tender documents and submitting demolition applications, the deconstruction and soil remediation measures are also accompanied by experts. Our office in Osnabr\u00fcck was responsible for planning and supervising the implementation of the geothermal energy.<\/p>\n
