MuP Umwelttechnik minimises the cost risk of land development<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Engineering for a better tomorrow: The purchase and subsequent development of industrial and commercial sites can be associated with high costs and risks. MuP Umwelttechnik is a competent partner here, identifying possible cost-driving factors and specifying the expected costs; for example, when acquiring the site of a wood-processing company to be developed for new construction.<\/p>\n

Environmentally hazardous substances can be used in wood processing, which then pollute the soil and groundwater. In this case, MuP Umwelttechnik conducted a historical investigation to determine whether and to what extent substances hazardous to water were handled on the site and whether accidents with such substances occurred. The areas with potential relevance for contaminated sites are now being investigated for orientation.<\/p>\n

In coordination with the responsible district office, an investigation concept was developed to assess the endangered areas. Subsequently, sampling for the impact pathways soil-groundwater and soil-human is now made possible by means of 17 small pile driving boreholes.<\/p>\n

The results of the orienting study can be used to derive solutions for the client and to advise him on the implementation of the project in a cost-optimising manner.<\/p>\n
